Enough with the excuses , i am going to show you how to meditate at night to sleep better, stress-less and Stop Insomnia.Lack of sleep is probably one of the worst thing that you can do for your health. It can cause depression, lack of focus and concentration, serious health problems like diabetes, stress and heart disease, it can lead to weight gain and even premature skin aging. But an easy way to get a good night sleep is to establish a bed time meditation routine or "turn down process".
1] Start eating earlier!
You want to allow at least 4 hours between your last meal and bed time, i know i am gonna get a lot of complains from you guys and objections about having to eat late, so if you do that just make sure that your night time meal is your lightest meal. You can have a green salad or something else that is easily digested.
2] Get electronics totally out of the bedroom!
No TV, no laptops and not even cellphones. Get rid of all that distracting media. Some even recommend a sun down screen off method to order the natural rhythms of your brain.
3] Try these simple techniques for clearing your mind and falling asleep faster!
- Try keeping a notepad next to your bed for all of those thoughts that pop up during the night, so if you think of something write it down right away. It doesn't have to be a whole journal entry, just a quick note to remind yourself in the morning. Get it out of your head and on to paper as fast as possible, then forget it.
- Constant repetition protects your mind from other thoughts that might be come in, so you can count or use a mantra over and over again, or you can just say inhale on every inhale and exhale on every exhale,its as easy as that.
- Another thing that you can do is listen to guided meditation for sleep or Binaural Beats and this is the only time when media is allowed, you can use your cellphone for this one.

2] Don't eat within 4 hours before you go to bed.
If in case you went hungry, try some crackers or light snack. But don't indulge in "eat-all-you-can" feast right before bedtime.
Your food won't be digested well, resulting in poor and uncomfortable sleep.
3] Don't drink Caffeine and Alcohol.
Caffeine can obstruct your ability to sleep. Alcohol can make you drowsy, but it can wake you up in the middle of the night and bring you side effects that will hinder a continuous sleep process.
4] Relax and Stay Fit.
Avoid having a stressful lifestyle. Exercise daily to release tension. Engage in breathing exercises to relax your body. Most important of all, don't carry your problems or emotional baggage to sleep with you.
Forget about it for the meantime. You can go back and solve your dilemma better the next day after a restful sleep.

5] Never force yourself to Sleep.
Trying your best to sleep requires some work. You don't want to work when you want to doze off. Sleep comes best if you are in a relaxed and comfortable state. Just lie down, relax and let the sleeping fairy cast its spell upon you.
